This tool will put a snap (sta) ring on a disposer flange in seconds, saving you lots of pain and frustration. You disassemble all the parts, putty the flange, place it in the sink and, slide the ring up to the top of the cup. Put the treaded rod up thru the flange and spin the top bar down to snug it up to the flange. Then just hold down and snap the ring off the groove in the flange.
